Digital Technologies

Our children are being educated for a rapidly changing world. At Our Lady of the Sacred Heart believe it is important for students to learn how to use digital technology responsibly and effectively.

Digital technology offers a variety of learning opportunities for all students, and at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, it is integrated into the class learning programs and is supervised at all times. Students are taught how to use equipment correctly and adhere to appropriate online use. OLSH Internet access is subject to filters through the Catholic Education Office, teacher supervision and designated websites.

Students have access to range of Digital Technologies including:
  • One to One computer program in Grade 6
  • Access to Chromebooks, IPads and
  • A range of robotics and programmable robots.
  • Smartboards in all classrooms
